May 30th, 2007well hello there. first things first: here are the last and latest images from the mail art project:

we cleaned the whole house. i think we shaved a significant weight off if someone were trying to weigh it. the cats have bells on their collars and they look so stupid.
i am involved with this play
it is about a bedmaker and a platemaker, in strategic surreal expression. there will be five shows in aug/sept so that makes more chances of you going. i am not really sure what my specific role in the play is other than feedback, a bit of writing, video, and potential set design. i guess that is a lot. we picked a cast and they actually all have more formal experience than i do as far as this quick set change/design goes. i will, however offer what i can.
bigcar is changing. i am happy to say that i hope to contribute more of my time being present, offering suggestions and potentially opening the audience up to not just white 20-30 year olds. there will be some workshops held every saturday in october that will be a combination of diy seminars and honing your technique with writing and more “fine arts”. i hate the split of that , but there is *some weight in terminology.
this friday is the filthy fluno show at big car. he is a member of second life (an online “otherworld” where you can fly to islands and real-time communicate with people) that has a gallery in the meta-verse. this is something that is pretty innovative… bringing the internet to a somewhat traditional gallery. i tried to talk drew and natalie (of marrried to the sea) to do this, sadly they declined. filthy has tangible drawings as well and they did not, however the bridge from this weird place we store our photos to the “real” world is pretty interesting if i DO SAY SO MYSELF.
monk looks so dumb with a bell on.
i cannot believe that i graduate in december. i think i really want the traditional walk. i did nothing of the sort for high school for various reasons, however it was not nearly the struggle that college was. i cannot believe that it is so close. that being close means graduate school applications loom.
our garden is great. the radishes are out of control. this year we have eggplants, lavendar, tomatoes, dill (galore), squash, pumpkins, spinach, bok choy, and hot peppers maybe. everything seems much better now there is a rabbit fence up. they seem to like to live in our sweet flower bush. they look pretty stupid when i am walking past to water the garden and three bunnies hop out of the bush … terrified. hi, bunnies, not too smart, living in a bush, kay?
my computer is fizzing out. i have had it for nearly four years, so that isn’t terrible. also, this one has been fixed a few times. if i had good credit i would get a new one, not going to happen apparently. it wouldn’t be very fair anyway.
my next academic goal is obviously graduate school, but before that i would like to take myself and philip to somewhere outside of the u.s.a. we will see how that works. the plane ticket i think is what is most expensive.
promise=more updates/frequently
