the show went really well. someone asked me for an autograph. i had a fantastic entourage. the book was printed, bound, and ready for the show.
here i am… with the nice camera i had to give back to andrea…

i am glad that i don’t dress the parts and argue about being and nothingness. i am glad that i don’t have a certain kind of inconsequential behaviour, that “less enlightened people” would call capricious or just plain selfish. i am glad that i am not confused on whether or not the “heros” or “anti-heros” of the existentialist novels that i read are not supposed to be realistic. i am glad i do not imitate them. i am glad i don’t mistake them for metaphorical descriptions of complex modes of feeling for straightforward prescriptions of my behavior ( at the expense of others emotions).
i am certainly glad that i will earn a degree, but i will not be obtain a first class illusion.
